Solo Mining Issue/Query

Hello All,

I have recently discovered Gold Coin (after solo mining FTC and DGC for a while) and I've an issue with the goldcoin-qt app. I understand solo mining, (using CGminer) how it works and how to do it. I have been doing it for weeks on DGC and FTC using the coin's equivalent '-qt' app. I know about editing the .conf file, etc.

What I haven't come across before, however, is this:

I was mining GoldCoin for an hour or o (I have a 4 x 7950 GPU rig that ticks over at 2400 kh/s) and cgminer reported a block found, or something like that. The 'A' (accepted) area of CGminer showed my accepted shares and the GoldCoin-Qt app changed the 'Number of Transactions' to '1'. However, no coins (unconfirmed or in the balance section) showed up, nor was there ant 'papertrail' in the receive coins or transaction tabs. I let it run a while after and the same thing happened again but the number of transactions changed to 2, and still no record in the transactions or receive tab.

I take this as quite weird! Can anyone shed some light on this or explain to me if/why I am doing something wrong?!

I am having the same issue, running 1 7950, also only getting rejected shares. I've attached a image of my client, CGMiner 3.7.2.

I'm also having the same issue. I've had 2 blocks accepted and can see that the transaction counter has incremented but there is nothing in the transaction log nor have I seen an increase in the balance. I am currently mining with a 6950 and 7950 as well as 2 cpu's.


**Update**
I forgot to mention that prior to seeing accepted shares I had two previous shares that were discarded as stales. At that time I had the --no-submit-stale option set. Once i removed that my shares were accepted.

Im having the same issue. I have in the transaction counte:  2: but i havent any coin and any transaction in the transaction window.

The developers are looking into this issue now. We will probably release a maintenance patch to fix this problem shortly.

Left my miner running for 12 hours and found 25 blocks ALL orphans. Please get an update out ASAP. This is just plain crazy.

There is a slight issue with the difficulty calculation. These problems are being addressed and a patch will be available soon.

I trust MicroGuy to find those orphans homes.   I have long said this and I stand by it, no one is more concerned with lost orphans hanging around the block.  He will find them homes and they will grow up in stable families.

Thanks Micro Guy! I pointed something was up a few days ago. There seems to be another problem also which I will address when the patch comes out and what was changed in it.

Also, what happens to the mined blocks when the patch comes out? Does the blockchain go back, remain where is? If everything was orphaned across the board then I would guess it stays as is.

Well lets see. Any ETA on the release? Roughly what times?
