I'm planning on investing in Gold Coin in a few days, How exactly do i go by getting them? How does sending/receiving work? I heard stuff about Bitcoin having confirmation and transaction fees, so i was wondering if anyone would be able to explain some basics.

Right now there are no exchanges selling GoldCoin for US dollars.  You have to get bitcoin first.  A good place to do this is coinbase.com.  You will then transfer some bitcoins to cryptsy.com after setting up an account there.  Then you trade bitcoins for GoldCoins.

Coinbase seem to accept US Bank accounts only, and i've been hearing that it takes 1 month or so before you actually receive the coin.

Ahh sorry man.  You could see if someone will sell you some here in the markets section I believe it is, otherwise you'll have to either mine or buy bitcoins somewhere else first.

Try bitstamp if you are from europe. you need to supply pics of passport and proof of residency, then it takes 1 to 3 days to get your money transferred over. Buy some bitcoin there then transfer them over to cryptsy to get your goldcoin.
