I haven’t had time to explore everything, but having made a couple of trades here are my initial thoughts. First off, kudos for having put this together! I like the clean, uncluttered look, ala Bitstamp.
1. Login – have you considered / could you incorporate 2 factor authorisation ie yubikey/google authenticator etc? People need to have confidence in an exchange’s security if they’re to entrust their funds.
2. Fees: I think a separate link explaining what the site fees are would be helpful, like Bitstamp, for deposit/withdrawal/trades, are they fixed/sliding scale etc?
3. Withdrawal confirmations: again allied to security, some form of 2 factor authorisation should be required (ala Cryptsy). I haven’t been able to check my linked email account yet, so apologies if this is already the case (but if it is then the user should be informed of the requirement when submitting the withdrawal request)
4. Auto calculation for trades/withdrawals i.e. being able to click on available funds and having the ‘amount’ field auto-complete would be useful, especially when working in fee deductions (Cryptsy is good in this regard, unlike BTC-e that relies on the user doing the calcs) (looks as though this has already been mentioned above)
5. Trades: I think ‘Buy/Sell GLD’ should be separated from ‘Account’ and have its own left hand menu, with the sub-options being either ‘GLD/USD’ or ‘GLD/LTC’, that when selected would bring up the centre trades screen, ideally with the open sell/buy orders and trade history underneath.
6. Payment History – could this be more of a ‘transaction history’, showing movement both in and out? As the ‘deposit’ screen does not show any history at all.
7. Information menu: would be useful to link the open/completed order numbers to their respective detailed pages
8. Minor quibble re presentation – ‘Deposit a Amount’ should be ‘Deposit An Amount’, and in relation to withdrawals, ‘via’ should be extended to ‘via address’ before the address box, so 1st timers are clear on what is required!
That’s if for now, hope it’s helpful. Sure there’s scope for more – personally I think no one exchange has got its interface exactly right and there are good and bad bits to each, but Bitstamp is a good model to emulate.
