What need GoldCoin to growth up ?

Hi everybody,

i'm new on the forum but i want to start this topic : what need Goldcoin to growth up ?

The actually config of GLD it's very close of config of WDC 4 weeks ago :
1) Good team dev's
2) Market price 0.0001-0.00013
3) no big move on the price !

Now WDC is at 0.00075-0.0009 !!!

What happen ?

1) WDC found a place in a China exchange market !
2) New dev work on a site exchange WDC/USD : sharmbeck
3) The same dev's create a mining farm and dividend are paid on cryptostock.
4) a lot of investor stop selling at this price and place WDC in a cold wallet !

I think GLD need the same to be at the same price or more !!!

1) Microguy with Tercel try to place GLD on a China exchange market : NICE !
2) GldMarket Beta test : VERY NICE... maybe bustingbuster must purpose shares in Cryptostocks !

and 3) and 4) not happen ... yet !

SO

- maybe some ppl are interested and have funds to invest in a mining farm to stabilize the difficulty of mining GLD ?
- maybe a group of miners go to be created and stop selling at this price ?

Have you more suggestions ?

Utility.  No coin has real utility now--a direct purpose.  SexCoin moved up like gangbusters on just the possibility of that industry USING it.

It would be very nice if we were the first coin to be used in online games like Second Life (I know they use Linden Dollars) or other such games.  It amazes me that no one has moved into this territory yet.  Is anything used for minecraft?  Hell what if it's used at Chucky Cheese's...lol.  Any form of actual use.

Also, I have thought in the past that Gold bugs would do very well to align themselves with this coin as decentralized currencies aren't going away and clearly we all still value real gold.  If I had managed to convince ANY of the current metal distributors when I had tried in the past, they would have made a great profit.  I think we are very much aligned with that industry.

I could also see real world physical casinos using GoldCoin as the name is simply that incredible.  I wonder if anyone has ever made a physical cryptocurrency gambling machine.  That would be pretty sweet.  How about those local mini casions you see pop up everywhere?  Wouldn't it be awesome to have some form of GoldCoin gambling there?

I think we need to reach out to the programming community and other areas to expand our base a lot more and our capability to entrench this coin.

These are some terrific ideas! 

I think also what we'll see in the near future will be universal point-of-sales systems what accept multiple coin payments very similar to today's credit card terminals. Bitcoin POS systems will be easily adapted to accept a variety of altcoins.

Currency valuations will be largely a product of marketing and psychology. Consumers will most likely flock towards the better names, the better communities, and the coins that feel safe, valuable, and most tangible to them. I see perhaps 3 or 4 coins dominating the space very similar to the way legacy payment dinosaurs Mastercard, Discover, and Visa fill that space today.

With the word "gold" in our name we already have a head-start on the competition. By making our community stronger, making the coin safer, and by properly leveraging our assets such as our name, Goldcoin will become the #1 digital currency in a few short years. I think this is the prefect time to start marketing our coin to the masses. ()

that's a great idea.. i am not sure about technical issues, but we can use the same concept, instead of credit/debit card numbers, it would be addresses for various coins .. but then we have to go back to Microguy's idea of a unified POS system ..

   or we can just use the wallet Apps on our phones .. each store would have a "variable" bar-code for the corresponding coin .. i can think of  a project if we decide to follow that road,  a phone with big storage capacity to handle  the growing block-chain.. i like the idea of such phone :https://phonebloks.com .. today, phone manufacturer's are barely introducing new technologies, and have very high prices for relatively low storage capacity..


 following the same line of thought, an idea just came to my mind,at a later stage such "large" projects can be funded by the community..  what about we setup a website similar to btcjam or http://www.gofundme.com/ or kickstarter .. to fund "legitimate" project proposals..
