GLD Network Hash Rate
« on: December 23, 2013, 02:52:11 PM »
I have noticed a declining trend in the goldcoin network hashrate, from 120MH to less than 80MH  :o

Need to find more ways to promote this coin, I have been all over the message boards and websites trying to get it some attention. Anyone have some more ideas?

Personally I LOVE to see the hashrate decline to sub 100MH/s.  Most of the miners that quit weren't in it for the long haul and the ones left are saving their goldcoins.

Forget the miners.  That's only a problem when a coin is first started.  It will never be a problem for GoldCoin.  I think we need some type of utility.  Any type of utility.  In all truth though, GoldCoin is doing quite well.  No one can argue that the long term trend is way, way up.

Well it looks like the network hashrate has definitely kicked up a notch, most likely due to Goldcoin regularly making the profitable list on auto switching mining pools, or is something else driving it?

Personally I think it is mostly the new asics, but even then the superfast ones are useless at the current hashrate due to the 51% protection.  GLD has been on the profitable side for some time and if more people join in we could start to see a new price rise to match.

New prices are coming I fill it in my blood.
With Cryptsy now taking U.S. dollar deposits and the new GoldCoin client coming out.
I think there is going to be a lot of people wish they would have cumulated more of it.
It's always nice to be in at a low price.
