It is not that difficult, just buy some bitcoins, make an account on Cryptsy.com and start buying GLD. That is the way i do it, within one hour you can be the owner of many GLD's..

Still need money in an exchange to buy bitcoins, so Im stuck with the same issue that route also.

The best method will vary depending on your planet location. If you're in the US, I think https://coinbase.com is good.

Once you own the Bitcoins just move them into the exchange to use for purchases.
