GLD Price Rising
« on: January 08, 2014, 09:58:14 PM »
Just making fun of every thread named: "GLD Price Dropping" every time there's drop in GLD's price  ;D

You are dipping into a highly volatile market.  Hold on to your seats because it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Hope everyone had a great day today.

If you want to buy it straight up, it doesn't hurt to try the marketplace on the forums. I would buy it from an active member here though, in order to minimize risk against potential scammers.

thanks sizzflair

I have customers that regularly amounts of money with me, however my profit is tiny because there are so many fees associated with the transactions (paypal 4+%).  It was great when google checkout was free, and when personal transactions at paypal were free, but all of that is gone and I can't raise the rates on my merchandise.

All of my customers are internationally based, avg fam income is $500K a year,  so they are willing to try anything if it doesn't monopolize their time or frustrate them.   I know this because it took months to get 40% of them to try google checkout (to break away from paypal) a clear two years after the launch of google checkout.

If I recommend a site to buy coin at it must be solid, otherwise I risk losing them.   It can't be 'go here, then go here, then come to me to buy stuff', I need a single stable and reliable resource for coin so that I could tell my customers to go there buy coin from him and used the coin to pay me.

One reliable method of obtaining Goldcoin is to purchase bitcoins on Coinbase.com and then use the bitcoins to purchase Goldcoins (GLD) on Cryptsy.com.

In the future, there will be many exchanges where an individual can purchase GLD directly with USD. However, we are not at that point in the coin's evolution and thus using the currency as a means of purchasing goods and services from recently converted fiat is somewhat inefficient. For miners and those that already have a position in GLD, purchases are very efficient.

On the subject of PayPal, please keep in mind that PayPal and credit cards are reversible payment methods and Goldcoin is an irreversible payment method. So if for example you sold $100 worth of Goldcoins to a customer who paid with PayPal you would be at risk of chargeback fraud. Therefore it is best not to SELL Goldcoins to individuals that you do not trust completely if they are paying with these reversible methods.

thanks.  Believe me I know ALLL about paypal, I've tried to leave them at least 10x but find myself come back each and every time,  99.999% of my business is overseas.   The coin thing is the best way for me to finally break free of them, though I suspect only about 25% of my customers to take the coin recommended route within 4 years of introduction.
