Rebuild the official GLD homepage

i am about to rebuild the official GoldCoin homepage.
To begin with my main focus will be to clean up the code and redesign the front page.
The goal is to make it more informative and overall a better user experience.

Once the website is complete and approved by the board, we will then transition to the new design.

One thing that would be amazing that I have not seen any other coin site do is to add pool hash rates to your pools list. This can be done through a JSON API call as long as the pool operator give cross domain permission to your site.

I can give details on how to do this if needed and even write a how to.

The only drawback is that the json is different on allmost every pool so it require some coding every time a new pool is added to the list.
The plan is to have a dynamic list that updates from a source, maybe a page on facebook dedicated for gld pools since i allready have implemented a news feed from the gldtalk facebook page.

I took a quick look on some different pools and there seem to be only 2-3 different json so maybe it won't be that hard to implement

Just keep in mind that if the pools don't set up headers to allow cross domain JSON you won't be able to grab the data. You would be able to get it with JSONP but it would be useless because the data will throw exceptions.

I have a working copy up and running now and i would like to have some input from the community before i continue so please take a look on it and give me any feedback!
Should anything be different, please let me know. Other colors, other fonts, other texts, other desing, anything...
I try to keep it as light weight and simple as possible, only one css, a few js-files and not too much images.

looking pretty good one thing I was just thinking of when you add links to the exchanges maybe you could add direct links to the goldcoin markets instead of just the exchange itself

I just checked it out, have you gotten any data from the pools yet? I did notice one error on the page:

Are you pulling data with php @file_get_contents or something? Maybe your new host don't allow?
