New Logo and Client

Would it be a good idea to change the logo to the new and improved one when the new client comes out?

Yes. I think that's what akumaburn had mentioned.

Maybe someone can check, but I think the new client might be the first multi-platform java client ever released for a mineable altcoin. The only other client I can find built using JAVA is NXT.

I know this is silly but I really LOVE the new logo guys.  I don't know who did it but it really is incredible.  Akumaburn and Stouse are probably reading this thinking, "Look at this guy getting all excited about a logo while I'm writing the client from scratch in java."   

I'm so excited about the new client too.  This will be a good sign to the rest of the crypto community that to be a GoldCoin dev, you're going to have to know more than how to copy/paste some code--being a GoldCoin developer is a badge of honor and good luck even understanding the genius of Akumaburn.

Still though, as silly as this sounds, I really like that freaking logo.  It seems so stately.  I almost wish we could start using that on the exchanges,etc. but I suppose it should be updated the same time the client is.

If you're referring to logo posted on the forums a bit back, I agree.  That logo would do wonders for perception.  While the technical side appears to be amazing, the initial hook is usually an extremely polished appearance.  You come for the polish, you see the good community, and then your fears are put to rest because of the technical side.  At least that's how I was.
