Ideas: Helping people buy Goldcoin (GLD) using Ebay?

I think this method could be useful in a.) increasing Goldcoin exposure to mainstream, and b.) providing a vehicle whereby consumers not familiar with cryptocurrencies can easily purchase Goldcoins.

If someone from the community could make an Ebay listing (except with a more reasonable profit margin like 20%?) I think it could be a productive experiment.

Gold coin is not easy to buy for the average person. They (including myself) struggle to understand how to accomplish the task. Yes most of you are saying how easy it is.....BUT...we are losing massive sales by not having a  click buy with paypal credit card ect. People that wanted to  buy Bitcoin are still [beep]ing about how hard it is. Just my 2 cents. Kirk

Ebay is a good platform to start with which offers you also to sell Goldcoins to people and they can use Paypal or other method of payment.

I was just reading the info posted for the auction. It reads more like an Ad for Crypsty than anything. But I'm glad they are selling Goldcoin to promote it.

I would have auctions on eBay but I haven't been on there in years. I made my living on eBay back in the 90's I was one of the very first Power Sellers and I'm they guy they got Buy-It-Now from They would never tell who they got the idea from but it was me. I had 500 plus auctions a week, had buyers asking for products all the time etc.. So I started having "Instant Winner Auctions"  Place your Bid send me a message and I'll Stop the Auction and you'll be the Winner!!! The good thing back then sometimes I'd have about 5 people send me a message, so I would sell 5 of the item or more in one auction at no extra cost.  I remember putting 50 auctions on and within 15 mins half of them would sell with the Instant Winner Auction lol Then everyone started selling on eBay and it wasn't worth it any more. The last item I sold on there was back in 2000.

What did I get for the Buy-It-Now idea? Not one thing.

People will want to see if they can find a better price, and hopefully mine or buy some off Cryptsy and thus be invested.  Or they might even buy it for 0.01BTC.  That would be really nice!
