MinePeon vs Minera for RPi
« on: March 04, 2015, 02:08:02 PM »
It doesn't seem like this board is getting much activity right now but oh well...I'll still post this at least as a contribution to help the board in general.

I'm slated to receive a Raspberry Pi B+ in the coming week or so and wondering what is recommended OS when comparing Minera vs MinePeon.  Minera seems to be more pretty and feature rich while MinePeon seems to be more minimalistic.

My assumption is since the Asics will be doin the work, from an efficiency standpoint it shouldn't really matter which I choose but I'm curious as to efficiencies in how each GUI OS interacts with individual mining software.

I'm going to be installing to an 8gb micro SD.
