Can't unblock Encryption

I'm in process of downloading blockchain but my wallet is encrypted and blocked. I have encryption password but am unsure how to proceed,

Are you trying to upgrade an existing wallet or install a fresh copy? If you are installing the client for the first time there should be no wallet encryption.

Wallet synchronization should take at most a few hours on 6 Mbit line. Typically less than 2 hours, but this is only for first run.. every run after that will be a matter of seconds (as long as you don't neglect to run it for a while).

If you see your client frozen at a particular block, then simply restart it, and it should get past that block.

Also note that current transaction confirmation times are longer than usual, we expect it to take until block 253720(a few days from now) before transaction times return to their 2 minute average.
