About Uberpay and Coinomi
Uberpay was asking a few month ago on cryptocompare for adding Goldcoin to it maybe.
- as you can see i had no clue about Uberpay and didn t get an answer to my question of what uberpay is
-Also started to watch Coinomi multiwallet on github to stay informed about the coins they ad to the wallet.
Then a few days ago they started a conversation about Coinomi and Uberpay on github:
I think Coinomi and UberPay are similar, being multicoin wallets with exchange built-in.
Coinomi's first commit was on Jun 11 2014, while UberPay's initial commit was on Aug 21 2015.
Coincidence, fork, or creative differences?

as far as l can see, uberpay looks almost same with few differencess.
most important for me it is not open source!
so no way you can check,what tricks added in program. It can be anything, collect and sent information somewhere:) for instance...
another thing, they so hide info about hwo actually debeloped and run app, its really difficult to figure up ,no even email address to found where to write in case of errors...
actually coinomi, also do not displayed they support address,but at least l was able to foud it.
l'm really do not understand why link to support not imbedded in application...
for ll read ,that some services for ubetpay provided by coinomi!
So for me it is looks like that uber,buy some from coinomy, for use under uber logo and they do not want open source
I prefer coinomi but in this stage it need lots of improvement.

UberPay is a folk of Coinomi with full open source... You have not tried hard enough to find support or the open source which you can find on Github and

only unfounded complains for both UberPay and Coinomi! So try harder next time! UberPay and Coinomi maybe have started out the same code, but have different market approach...
so quit Bull [beep]ting folks about either coin!
Ultimately its a matter of creative differences, on using open source, just as all cryptos that have been created from Bitcoin.
Electrum Servers that support the wallets, some are run by the Coinomi Team and some are run but the coin communities and the UberPay Team.
But UberPay is the only service that monitors 24/7 ALL electrum servers that are used by both coins. I hope this statement clarifies this unwarranted continual bashing.
Folks keep it professional and business like not amateurish and childish!

Why so hostile, @geopayme? It was a legitimate question. You call it "unwarranted continual bashing" in stead. When I previously raised legit concerns about a naming conflict,
you called me a pothead. With that in mind, I think you are projecting when you opt against "amateurish and childish".

Please keep it friendly and use unambiguous semantics in communication. Coinome and UberPay are wallets. Not coins. Thanks for your response on the matter.

I am extremely friendly, but when I have an individual or individuals that go around websites and trash UberPay and to some extend Coinomi,
than all bets are off. I can accept criticism but when a person visits sites and attacks other individual comments, then I take it personal.
I wonder why respond to my comments and not the individual that has been attacking UberPay and others on multiple sites?

Because you are responding to me, and more importantly, this is the first time I'm hearing of it.
I think you 1) accidentally confused or associated me with someone who is actively attacking your comments and 2) know I'm right about the problem with the name and/or confuse this with being hostile.
You haven't had the best experience on Github. It's best to ignore comments from individuals that are not being constructive. That's what I do.
And it's probably best to stay friendly towards people you meet for the first time on Github. You never know what they do or can do for you in the future.
Finally
- Actually i can say that it looks like that both multiwallets are OpenSource and some people try to put [beep] on Uberpay.
I believe it would be nice to have Goldoin on a multiwallet
we can attract more interest to people who decided to be only involved in cryptocurrencies which they can store on the Multicoin wallet.
UberPay is the only service that monitors 24/7 ALL electrum servers.
So it looks like Uberpay is the better service if the meaning of electrum is not the coin and it have something to do with coins or wallets in general, otherwise it would be sensless for goldcoin.

BTC LTC ETH been stolen
3 times hacked by 2 different people.....
was an inside job and slack was also involved in the process seems...
so at least shapeshift is now saver then before the hack and no customer money has been stolen
they also talk about decentralization in general and about decentralized exchanges
all over a very interesting Video
What can we learn from this:
We used Slack in the past and i can remember that mathieu was asking for a higher security level for our meetings.
In fact that the bitcoin price is going up and scams around cryptocurrencies starting to hype again, we should maybe do this.
So we have to walk on the small line between "stay open to the community" and "be secured" which is obviously the opposite of it
.
So we discussed the way of having a open session first and if everything is done to the open community we switch to the closed session and move on.
(If someone drops in later we can also switch again or provide the link to the closed session).
