We Need Improved Utilization of Slack

I think we all need to spend some time this week better utilizing Slack, building channels, and creating systems for enrolling new workers, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance.

How can we improve these processes? How can we better utilize Slack? Share your thoughts and ideas below!

Thank you for this suggestion. I think we should also make Slack one of the components of weekly POW. For example, each worker would be required to participate in Slack in addition to making 2 outposts per week.

I think Slack could be great for communication and organization but we are not utilizing it properly. We are barely using the site at all.

Seriously, there are some BIG investors looking into the altcoin space at the moment. I have this on good authority. And they're looking to 'invest in' (buy coins on open market) operations that are organized, efficient, and have communities that are loyal, intelligent, and active. It won't take much tweaking to make Goldcoin attractive to these individuals. So let's get serious and make this currency a desirable and legitimate contender in that great Altcoin race.

Let's make it our goal right now to get GLD into the top 25 this year, and improve our ranking to top-10 status during 2016!

Way to go microguy,  i really love to see people with so much pasIon,  id love to see a set of tasks to be done in a lets say monthly basis.  That would set a goal for the workforce, that way we can focus on 1 things at a time and chip away at the dream

Here's what I've decided. All workers who are active in helping to 'build' and 'organize' Slack will receive 25% bonuses each week!

Slack may not be the perfect tool but it will have to do until we find something better. We are building a great power of human resources and it's time now for us to channel and direct that energy efficiently. This can only be done if we communicate better and have a more team oriented approach to delegating and executing tasks.

In addition, I have decided to double triple everyone's salary once GoldCoin (GLD) reaches one cent!

first try to integrate rss failed , so i removed it and i will get now deeper into the  Slack rabbit whole

- Trello integration works well !

- instead of rss we will try e-mail notifications for Forum posts ! (gldtalk.org and Bitcointalk)
e-mail notification is working ! YAY ! now i only have to connect the goldcoinbot with a few other forums and enable the notify me by e-mail button and then we can make a Slack channel #Forums.
Then in Slack we will get a post if someone post something on bitcointalk , cryptocompare allcryptotalk etc... YAY

- other things would be the integration of the IRC channel into Slack and a web api from Cryptsy !

Ive started to check the pricing on Slack, and whats inside the free one 

- 5 GB Space which not really matter because we can share files with dropbox or google.

- We can integrate 10 services :

Trello (integrate it to Official Slack channel very soon )
