The http://gld.cryptocoinexplorer.com is the official CCE address for Goldcoin.

The http://gold.cryptocoinexplorer.com is the address for the Goldcoin test explorer for CCE3.

Once CCE3 goes live and CCE is completely converted over to CCE3, the test address will no longer be active.

I would prefer people use the test explorer as that is what it is there for  . If one doubts the test explorer, remember you can always cross check with the official address with the ABE based explorer at least until the conversion takes place.
At this point in the testing there is really no reason to doubt the test explorer, and in some ways it is more accurate then the ABE based explorer.
