problems with pool minning

Hi there i am trying to join the minning pool but when i click on start minning is says

"miner failed to start. Make sure you have the minterd executible and libraries in the same directory as GoldCoin-Qt."

I can solo mine at about 580 hashes per sec, but nothing really shows up any were as in stats on the goldcoin cryptocoin mine

any ideas, please help

also turn off your anti-virus until you make the exception. some anti-virus programs give false positives because it uses all your cpu.

and the pool wont show until you have gotten some shares accepted.
