In order to reach mainstream consciousness and awareness we must widen our perspective and message to include those outside the inner workings of the digital currency underworld.
In many ways the alt coin community is like a giant factory of coin producers with each small group making their own branded coin. As each group argues about which coin is best, few seem to notice that the factory doors are bolted closed and the windows to the outside world are all painted black. Now is the time to break down the door, take a deep breath of fresh air, and let the outside light shine down on Goldcoin.
The best way to reach the masses is via the mass media and social networking infrastructures. Just look at the antics of Miley Cirus for example and how much media/social attention that ridiculous performance attracted. Just imagine if she'd been singing about Goldcoin while sending her male counterpart Goldcoins from a golden smartphone dangling from a chain around her neck. If she had included a digital currency in her publicity stunt, I doubt she would have chosen a name like Litecoin or Bitcoin. After all, Goldcoin has five times the swagger and ten times the sex appeal. And instead of twerking, everyone would be talking about Goldcoin. I'm not suggesting tasteless stunts but this is a good example of how 5 minutes in the spotlight can resonate a message around the globe.
[Job Description]
This job requires the candidate to embed himself into the YouTube social network. To seek out and contact young talented videomakers and to enlist them to make viral videos for Goldcoin. I don't have internet connectivity at present but did have one potential candidate already bookmarked:

I'm not saying this person is an ideal candidate, but we need young popular videomakers with lots of subscribers. The focus of the videos should be people using Goldcoin in their everyday lives. Some examples could be moms paying babysitters, students using QR codes in stores for payment, parents using goldcoin to pay their child's allowances, etc., etc.
Basically this position requires the successful candidate to go to these video producers, open a line of communication, explain the vision, ask questions like, "will you take on this challenge?", and "how much would you charge?", then report back to this thread with the findings. Then using this report the community can put the needed funds together to hire these individuals to direct and produce the various videos. Remember that over time as the price of Goldcoin rises so will our leverage.
