The developers have identified an issue with this update which is causing network chain fragmentation. The solution has been found and a maintenance update is now being prepared for release. Please stay tuned for further updates.

I am also downloading new 0.7.1.2  client. It will take hours before network chain fragmentation is resolved. Always make backup of wallet when installing new client.

My client was also stuck for a long period with one block remaining but it has just resolved and now my client is syncing. I have been informed by the DevTeam that it might take several hours for the network to reach a consensus.

when i am mining solo i get all rejects. i can mine with a few khash, or many mhash, all rejects....

The new client rejects blocks if they happen to trigger the 51% defense, no more than 6 blocks are permitted per 10 minutes regardless of their origin.

When I was on the latest client out on Thursday, I had a balance of 3000+ with an unconfirmed balance of 5000+. I backed up my wallet and upgraded to 0.7.1.3 and now my balance in 675 with 0 unconfirmed. I tried putting my backup dat file back and it still the same.

edit. The new client is showing I have 602 transactions. All i have been doing is mining.

If the coins were mined while on a side chain they will not be valid on the main chain. It sounds like you were mining on a fork.

I am in the same boat, I had 6 7950 solo mining all day and all rejects.
I did stopped mining for now.

Sometime in the next couple of days I will put up a tutorial on how to use pywallet.

Your wallets could very well be stuck on transactions that never made it to the official chain among other things.

I will show you how to use pywallet to completely "clean" your wallet of all transactions, and force client to rescan/index everything.

REMEMBER TO BACKUP YOUR WALLET...TWICE        BEFORE USING THIS TOOL ON A WALLET FILE.

Use to to completely delete all the transactions (NOT THE KEYS) in the wallet. Then start your client with the --rescan option.

again ... USE THIS TOOL ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE MADE A BACKUP(COPY) OF YOUR WALLET FILE, IN FACT USE THE TOOL ON A COPY OF YOUR WALLET FILE AND SAVE THE ORIGINAL.

The window between to mine blocks is too small.. this will be resolved with the 103000 fork within 24 hours or so.

Please be patient, you will be able to mine very soon. In the mean time ensure that you have updated to 0.7.1.4.
