Question regarding the miner on gldcoin.com

OK, first post.

I am using the miner from this site.  Windows version.  I am trying solo mining with my dual CPU.  I do understand that you need heavy GPU/CPU to get coins, but all I am doing is starting the solo mining button and not entering a username, passw, address or port.  Will this work?  I have the wallet encrypted, but like  I said, just hit start.  My HPS is 3200.  Am I missing anything?  Thanks for any info!

if you are getting a hashrate then it should be working.

The solo mining feature of the client is the slowest, but easiest way of mining.
