One thing we're going to need to adapt to is the new trend in mining.
When the majority of the hashrate was coming from the Goldcoin community, miners were thoughtful about what they did with their newly mined coins. A lot of these GPU miners held their coins, or gradually sold them at times that would not be detrimental to the market.
Now, however, with the new wave of ASIC devices it is more of a systematic selling of 45 coins every 2 minutes. So irrespective of the market conditions, 45 coins are being sold every 2 minutes. That means we have to have buyers to absorb these newly minted coins. As a community each of our 1500 members need to understand this dynamic.
If there are zero buyers, the GLD price will continue to drop until it reaches zero.
