I've a spare VPS with 2GB RAm and Ubuntu 12.04 installed on it. Wish to start a GLD mining pool on it. I tried it by myself but could not... Basically due to poor knowledge of Linux.

Here I am offering 2500 GLD's to anyone who can provide me detailed instructions on installing a MPOS or P2pool based mining pool with following requirements:

1) Pool should be accessible from behind a very strict firewall. (Right now, I cant access any pool with cpuminer through this firewall. Though I can access HTTP & HTTPS sites with it.) SSH tunneling is not an option!
2)Also need a good guidance on pool administration.

PM me or post it in reply... 1st come basis...

Anyone?

Hi kapare1209,

I had a chat with you the otherday on my IRC channel and i am not sure you know enough about how mining works let alone running your own pool.

Anyone can "setup a pool" but maintaining the pool and being able to work out where the issue is to fix errors fast  is another story, There are detailed guides on how to set up a pool on the net.

And a side note with the difficulty of the coin getting so high  i dont think CPU mining is worth it.

Sorry to be so blunt but i think you need to read and learn a lot more before you attempt to start a pool or get your self in over your head.

I got the pool working myself. Presently using it with a small group of friends. Sorry I forgot to close this topic. Thanks for reply anyway. I am glad you showed up interest to help.
