Hrmm very very tempting
Lemme see if I can shoe it into the schedule and get time off, I'll let you know before the end of next week hopefully (waitin on the Mrs to get back in town).
The biggest thing if I was to speak at it, I'd wanna get full disclosure/technical details into the 51% defense as that seems like something to highlight upon of course, but I was following other threads over at bitcoin forums and seeing the debate go back and forth. I'm certain if there was a Q&A after speaking on it, that would be the topic of debate above anything else. I've read the idea/overview behind our 51% claim, but I'd like to be able to combat any questions/negative naysayers that might come up ya know. Again if I was going I wanna represent us 100% and be prepared as best possible to not make a fool of myself/the community! Oh the other thing obviously to highlight would be our new client release I think that and the 51% defense would be 2 key talking points for our presentation. And of course our new jingle for the intro would be a hit! Crap as I write this another idea flowing... GoldCoin Logo Polo! Gotta represent! I wish I would of know of this sooner, I know you mentioned it before on Facebook but I've been little preoccupied and very little free time.
As far as the Foundation, sure, I mentioned earlier that I'd help out wherever I could. I try to spread the word wherever and help people when/where I can (tweaking mining rigs if they are running, setting up wallets etc.) I could help moderate forums/website if needed. I have a System Admin background but nothing in the programming department.
